The Systems/ASM product provides a flexible development environment for IBM zSeries and Systems/390 processors. Systems/ASM has always been in step with HLASM updates and version 1.95 continues that tradition as well as other new enhancements.

New enhancements are:

• HLASM V1R6 compatibility features:
  • Integrated support for instructions and new instruction formats through the ZSERIES7 line of processors including vector instructions.
  • Support MHELP and PRINT MCALL.
  • UWARN() option support to control USING warning messages.
  • XREF(FULL) and XREF(SHORT).
  • FLAG(NOEXLITW) supported.
  • USING(MAPEXT) supported.
  • Ongoing improvements in diagnostics and HLASM compatibility.

• Usability enhancements for case-specific cross-platform file systems.

• Can now generate both HTML-style and plain text listing files in the same assembly step.
