In addition to major customer-driven enhancements, this robust software delivery includes many assembly time improvements and HLASM V1R5 compatibility improvements for traditional mainframe and Linux executables. HLASM V1R5 compatibility:

• HLASM V1R5 Associated Data (ADATA) format.
• New RRR and SSF instruction formats, support for decimal floating-point data types and instructions.
• Support for conditional assembly function syntax and the HLASM V1R5 conditional assembly functions.
• New 'Relocatable Immediate' RLD type for relative references to external symbols.
• ORG statement enhanced with new operands.
• Support for program attribute operands on DC and EQU statements.
• Other features for HLASM V1R5 compatibility.

• New DASMINI environment variable for expanded parms processing.
• Generates IBM "events file" information for interoperabilty with IBM programmer toolkits.
• Support for EXCI mode in the DCCPA CICS preprocessor.
• Support for Solaris/X86 cross-platform host.
