Raleigh, NC - March 18, 2004: Dignus, LLC announces delivery of Systems/ASM 1.75

In addition to major customer-driven enhancements, this software delivery includes many assembly time improvements and HLASM compatibility improvements for z/OS and Linux executables.

Performance improvements:

• Temporary work files are now kept in memory by default.
• Assembly time improvements achieve up to 27% performance enhancement.

New customer-driven features:

• A new -fdate option was added to specify assembly time, allowing for exact rebuilds of objects.
• Support for HP/UX PA-RISC cross-platform host.
• New build management and EBCDIC<->ASCII translation features.

HLASM compatibility enhancements:

• Support for HLASM options, TYPCHECK, COMPAT(LITTYPE), FLAG(RECORD), FLAG(ALIGN), PESTOP and RA2 as well as new HLASM messages.
• Listing expanded with a new "Statements Flagged" and unreferenced symbols section.
• Support for the HLASM ACONTROL and *PROCESS statements.
